The Omni16C Ex Remote Display provides 16 points of display in a stand-alone panel-mount package without any alarm electronics suitable for installation into Zone 2 hazardous areas. This backlit display provides panel indication where no integrated alarm handling logic is required, Ideal for use with the Omni16C RLU (Model C1479A) or directly connected to your PLC.
This display is supplied in an Ex nA enclosure that allows this display to be mounted in Zone 2 hazardous locations. The IP65 front panel protection allows this display to be mounted outdoors.
Common positive or common negative switching options are catered for. Integral lamp test feature enhances system reliability. These displays provide an ideal low cost alternative to individual panel lights.
Led modules fitted into each window provide the option for different colours for each alarm window. Available colours are red, yellow, green, white, blue and orange.
The C1486A-EX Remote Display complies with the same standards as the standard Omni16 and has been assessed as suitable for use in SIL1 applications as specified in IEC61508.
The additional standard that the C1486A-EX complies with is the Explosion Protection standard: IEC60079-0 and IEC60079-11 , category Ex ic (formerly Ex nL).
