The M1152B Power Supply Module (ACLC PSU) is powered from 115/230Vac. It provides the primary logic power for all the other MAXIFLEX modules on the sameI/O Base. This power module also incorporates a +12Vdc field supply and sealed lead acid (SLA) batterycharger.

This power supply module is intended for use in MAXIFLEX systems where independent standby power is required when the 115/230Vac supply fails. The integral battery charger is temperature compensated to provide optimum capacity from the connected SLA Battery over the full temperature range. An integrated Battery Voltage Monitor is provided which allows the MAXIFLEX CPU in the system to monitor the current battery voltage, and state of the incoming mains supply for full RTU status monitoring.

Up to 4 hours standby can be achieved with a 12Ah SLA battery. The +12Vdc field supply may be used to power input  circuitry or a communications radio etc. in remote RTU applications.
