Use the Omniterm LPR Current Loop Repeater to create an additional independently isolated current loop from a single 0-20/4-20mA current loop. The Omniterm LPR is 24Vdc powered and the output current loop is fully isolated from the input.
OVERVIEW
The Omniterm LPR current loop repeater is designed to create one additional current loop signal from an existing current loop without affecting the integrity of the first loop. Use the LPR to repeat current loops into SCADA, PLC and DCS systems.
This 24Vdc powered module accepts a 0-20mA or 4-20mA input, and creates one 0-20mA or 4-20mA output. The output current loop repeat the input signal and is isolated from the input signal and 24Vdc power supply. Impedance changes on the output loop have no effect on the input loop.
The input signal is not isolated from the 24Vdc supply, and so the module power supply must be referenced to the same supply as the input loop. The module input however is fully differential allowing the input to be connected anywhere in the input loop.
