Use the Omniterm LPR Loop Repeater to increase 4-20mA drive capability, or add instruments to an existing current loop without affecting the integrity of the loop. The Omniterm LPR is 24Vdc powered and is fully isolated (input/output/powersupply).
OVERVIEW
The Omniterm LPR current loop repeater is designed to create an additional current loop signal from an existing current loop without affecting the integrity of the first loop. Use the LPR to repeat current loops into SCADA, PLC and DCS systems.
This 24Vdc powered module accepts 0-20mA or 4-20mA input, and creates a second 0-20mA or 4-20mA output that repeats the input current. The input, output and power supply are each isolated from the other allowing this instrument to be inserted into any current loop without creating ground loops, even if the repeated output current loop is grounded (as is common with PLC and DCS inputs).
