Overview

The Maxiflex 19” Adaptor Plate is used to mount the range of Maxiflex Bases into a 19” Cabinet; each plate suitable for one Base.

When mounting equipment on swing-frames, ensure enough clearance is left at the rear of the rack to include the bend radius of any cables which are mounted on the rear of the rack.

The M1811 Expander Cable is 400mm long, allowing a maximum of 180mm between the Master and Expander bases when mounted one above the other. A space of least 100mm must be allowed between bases when mounted to allow for module insertion/removal and field wiring. The Adaptor plate has this 100mm top clearance already built-in to allow for module removal.

NB! Adaptor Plate must be connected to a good earth in conjunction with the base. Use the stud provided on the plate for this purpose;
